SPUTNIK KL

SPUTNIK KL is a high-yielding spring rapeseed variety intended for seed production. It is characterized by high oil content in seeds, reaching 45%, and glucosinolate content at a level of 14-15 µmol/g, ensuring high product quality. The variety is distinguished by its resistance to imidazolinone herbicides, which facilitates weed control and enhances cultivation technology. Moreover, SPUTNIK KL has good resistance to diseases and pests, as well as drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.

The maturity period of the variety is about 96 days, and the potential yield reaches 4.1 tons per hectare. Rapeseed seeds are used for producing oil and meal that meet global quality standards. Spring rapeseed SPUTNIK KL also contributes to improving soil structure and suppressing weeds, which positively affects subsequent crops in crop rotation.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to use neutral or slightly acidic soils prepared using disking, plowing, and harrowing. The optimal soil temperature for sowing is +5-+8°C, and the seed burial depth is about 5 cm. An important element of agronomy is the application of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium and boron-containing fertilizers in the spring period and at the budding stage, which contributes to achieving high yields and quality product indicators.
