Temptation

Temptation is a modern winter rapeseed hybrid developed by DSV, characterized by high yield and resistance to major diseases such as verticillium, cylindrical sporosis, and phoma. The hybrid is resistant to turnip yellow mosaic virus (TuYV), making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various soil-climatic conditions. Temptation has a medium maturity group and early flowering, ensuring synchronized ripening and rapid seed filling in pods, contributing to high-quality harvests.

The plants of this hybrid are tall with moderate spring vegetation recovery rates, reducing the risk of frost damage. Temptation shows rapid autumn growth but does not tolerate apical growth, ensuring optimal leaf rosette development and high frost resistance. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to lodging and pod cracking, helping preserve yield under adverse weather conditions. Recommended plant density at harvest varies depending on the cultivation zone, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe.
