Tismenitskyi

Tismenitskyi is a mid-season winter rapeseed variety characterized by a long vegetation period of 305 to 312 days and plant height of 160–170 cm. Under favorable conditions, one plant forms 6–8 branches and more than 300 pods, ensuring a biological yield of up to 8 tons with a potential yield of 75–90 centners per hectare. The variety demonstrates high resistance to adverse conditions such as frost and drought, enabling it to germinate and grow successfully even in challenging climatic conditions. For maximum productivity, it is recommended to be grown in crop rotation with cereal grain crops, peas, as well as annual and perennial grasses. Optimal sowing dates are from August 20 to 25, with possible sowing up to August 30. Sowing rate is 5–6 kg per hectare, ensuring plant density of 80–100 plants per square meter. After wintering, 80–90 plants per square meter remain, indicating good winter hardiness of the variety. Tismenitskyi rapeseed is supplied in sowing units containing 2 million viable seeds, which are coated with a fungicide and insecticide formulation, along with a complex of micro- and macro-elements for protection and improved germination. Rapeseed as an agricultural crop plays an important role in soil improvement and crop rotation, and is widely used in food, industrial, and chemical industries. Rapeseed oil is used for biodiesel production, while meal and cake serve as high-quality animal feed.
