Trinidad

Rapeseed Trinidad is a tall, late-maturing hybrid selection of Lembke, characterized by high yield and high oil content. This hybrid combines early flowering with medium-early maturity, ensuring a stable yield potential of up to 50 centners per hectare. Trinidad features rapid and dynamic autumn development, making it suitable for optimal and late sowing dates. High efficiency in nitrogen uptake and assimilation contributes to improved growth and yield formation.

One of the key features of this hybrid is its high resistance to various diseases, including fusarium (Rlm7), cylindrical spot, turnip yellowing virus (TuYV), and verticillium. Additionally, Trinidad exhibits high tolerance to pod splitting and lodging, significantly reducing yield losses. The hybrid also demonstrates high drought and winter hardiness, confirmed by an 8-point rating, allowing successful cultivation across all agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissya, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe.

The cultivation technology for Trinidad is classical, with recommended seeding rates varying depending on sowing dates: from 400-450 thousand seeds per hectare for early sowing to 500-550 thousand for late sowing. Seed packaging is 1.5 million seeds. Due to its combination of high oil content, disease resistance, tolerance to adverse conditions, and rapid autumn development, the hybrid Trinidad is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality rapeseed yield.
