Xenon

Xenon is a high-yielding, early-maturing winter rapeseed hybrid developed by the European producer Lembke and first introduced to the market in 2010-2011. Xenon seeds have high germination and strong growth energy, ensuring uniform and even emergence. The hybrid features intensive lateral branching and a long central stem with numerous pods, contributing to a significant yield increase, reaching up to 59 centners per hectare. Xenon does not overgrow in the autumn period and demonstrates active, early spring growth, allowing plants to dominate weeds and ensure early, uniform seed maturation. Xenon exhibits high resistance to adverse conditions and diseases, including phomopsis and verticillium, and is also resistant to lodging, enabling direct combine harvesting. The hybrid’s pods are elastic and resilient, not cracking during maturation, reducing losses during harvest. Thanks to its high winter hardiness, Xenon minimizes yield losses even with insufficient growth regulators applied in autumn, which is especially important under adverse weather conditions. The hybrid is recommended for sowing in open ground during early planting periods — from late July to early August. Xenon responds well to application of growth regulators both in autumn and spring, promoting optimal plant development. Due to its early maturation and organized harvest, farmers can more quickly prepare the soil for subsequent plantings. Xenon requires no special care, making it an attractive choice for farmers seeking high productivity and reliable crop performance.
