Description
Janosh Rapeseed is a medium-late winter rapeseed hybrid from Lembke selection, with a high yield potential of up to 55-60 c/ha under production conditions. It features rapid autumn development, allowing for sowing in mid- to late-seasons, as well as high winter hardiness, rated at 9 points. Due to its adaptability, the hybrid successfully grows in all regions of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe.
The Janosh hybrid exhibits resistance to a wide range of diseases, including fusarium (Rlm7), verticillium, sclerotinia, and turnip yellow vein virus (TuYV). Additionally, it shows high tolerance to lodging and pod cracking, which helps preserve yield and improve seed quality. Drought resistance at 8 points and efficient nitrogen uptake make this variety especially valuable for cultivation under stress conditions and on various soil types.
Oil content in Janosh rapeseed seeds reaches 48.4%, an important indicator for oilseed crops. The recommended seeding rate is 400-550 thousand seeds per hectare or 35-45 plants per square meter, ensuring optimal plant density and maximum productivity. Thanks to its unique characteristics and resistance to adverse factors, Janosh rapeseed is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable yields.
