Description
Spring rapeseed YAVAR prefers light conditions and is moisture-loving, developing optimally on sandy-loam and loamy soils with acidity from 5.8 to 6.0. Seeds germinate at temperatures from +2 to +3°C, the optimal temperature for growth is in the range of +15–18°C, and the plant can withstand frosts up to -5°C. Sowing depth is 1–1.5 cm. For successful cultivation, protective measures against pests such as sawfly, flea beetles, seed pod-sucking weevil, and pollen eater must be conducted, as well as fighting diseases including seed mold, alternaria, sclerotinia, phoma, and root rots. Noxious weeds that can reduce yield include creeping horsetail, proso millet, white meadowfoam, and others.
The YAVAR variety is distinguished by high technological capabilities and resilience, allowing for stable yields of quality raw material for rapeseed oil production. Seeds have high oil content, which increases the economic efficiency of cultivation. Due to its agronomic characteristics and resistance to adverse conditions, YAVAR is a reliable choice for farmers focused on producing high-quality oilseed crops.
