Description
Arabella berries have a bright red color with a characteristic sheen and conical or heart-shaped form. The average fruit weight is about 25 grams. The flesh is light red, firm, slightly hollow, with a rich dessert-like flavor and high sugar content (Brix scale 8.2). Due to its excellent taste, the berries are ideal for fresh consumption as well as for making jams and desserts. The fruits are well-suited for transportation and have good storage life.
The variety is resistant to diseases and pests, particularly showing low susceptibility to powdery mildew and gray mold. Arabella thrives in sunny locations with soil pH in the range of 5.0–6.5 and exhibits winter hardiness. Thanks to its characteristics and remontant nature, this variety allows multiple harvests during the season, making it attractive to gardeners and farmers.
