The heart of the Shifeng SF-350L is a single-cylinder, water-cooled diesel engine. Unlike high-revving alternatives, this model is built around a concept of high torque at low RPMs. This is critical for working with heavy implements: the tractor maintains pulling power during the plowing of virgin soil or hauling cargo through mud. The liquid cooling system, featuring an oversized radiator, ensures a stable thermal environment even during peak summer operations, effectively eliminating the risk of overheating the piston group.

Transmission and power delivery

A defining design feature is the integration of a belt drive with a robust gear-based transmission. The belt system acts as a mechanical buffer: in the event of an abrupt stop—such as hitting a rock while tilling—the belts absorb the shock load, preventing potential damage to the crankshaft. The gearbox offers a wide range of speeds, allowing the operator to find the perfect pace for precise row cultivation or efficient, high-speed transport of trailers.

Chassis and ergonomics

The reinforced frame of the Shifeng SF-350L is engineered to withstand the impact stresses common in off-road and uneven terrain. Adjustable track width is a key advantage for farmers: it allows the machine to be adapted for various row crops, minimizing plant damage during passage.
