ABSENTE

The Absente soybean variety is a medium-early determinate variety recommended for cultivation in Primorsky Krai and included in the State Register for the Far Eastern region. The plant is characterized by medium or high growth, with a hypocotyl having an anthocyanin coloration and gray stem pubescence. The leaves are sharply egg-shaped, the flowers are purple, and the seeds are yellow with a light brown hilum. The beginning of flowering is early, and the vegetative period is 119 days, which allows the variety to successfully adapt to the regional climatic conditions. The variety is distinguished by high yield and significant content of useful substances. The average yield in the region is 11.0 centners per hectare, while the maximum yield reached 29.2 centners per hectare at the Amur State Variety Testing Site of Khabarovsk Krai in 2020. The weight of 1000 seeds is 164 grams, indicating the size and high quality of the seeds. Special attention deserves the chemical composition of the Absente variety seeds: protein content reaches 40%, and fat content is 22%, making this variety promising for use in the food and feed industries. To obtain maximum yield, it is necessary to observe agrotechnical conditions and proper care, which will allow the potential of the variety to be revealed and ensure stable production of high-quality raw materials.
