Soybean variety Diamond is an early-maturing grain variety recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe zones of Ukraine. Plants reach a height of 60-70 cm, have a dense bush and grey pubescence on the stem. The vegetation period is 100-105 days, ensuring stable maturity and adaptation to various soil-climate conditions. The variety exhibits neutral photoperiodic response, cold tolerance, and drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for mechanized cultivation across different regions of the country.

Soybean Diamond is characterized by high yield — in forest-steppe conditions, it reaches about 26 centners per hectare, with an average yield of 18.2 centners per hectare. Pods are large, round-oval, yellow in color, with 1000-seed mass varying from 130 to 220 g depending on cultivation conditions. Protein content in the grain ranges from 38-42%, indicating medium to high protein characteristics of the variety. The height of the lower pod attachment is within 12-14 cm, facilitating harvesting and reducing yield losses.

The variety is resistant to lodging, shattering, diseases, and pests, enhancing its reliability and product quality. Inflorescences are compound racemes with 5-7 light-purple flowers, a distinctive morphological feature of the variety. Due to its qualities and adaptability, soybean Diamond is suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
