The «Chornobura» soybean variety is the result of focused breeding work by the Breeding and Genetics Institute (NCSS). The core strategy behind this material is the optimization of vegetative mass to form the maximum number of productive nodes. The plant height of 90–100 cm is an optimal parameter for mechanized harvesting: at these dimensions, the lower pods are positioned at a level that minimizes losses during combine header operations.

A stable growth reaching up to 1 meter allows the plant to develop a robust leaf apparatus that supports grain filling while maintaining high lodging resistance.
