Furio

Soybean variety Furio is an early-maturing and mid-early maturing grain variety, recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, forest-steppe, and Far East regions. This variety was registered in 2016 and features an indeterminate growth habit with plant height of about 92 cm and the attachment height of the lower pod at approximately 15.6 cm. Plants have upright or semi-upright stems with reddish-brown hairs, purple flowers, and medium-sized elongated-oval yellow seeds with a yellow hilum. Furio has a vegetative period of 113 to 122 days, enabling it to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions. The average 1000-seed weight is about 204 grams, and the average yield in the region reaches 22.5 centners per hectare. The seeds contain high protein — around 39.2%, and fat — 20.5%, making this variety attractive for grain use and obtaining high-quality raw material with high protein and oil content. The variety is characterized by high resistance to major diseases, including sclerotinia, as well as lodging resistance, ensuring stable yields. Furio is suitable for No Till cultivation and recommended for sowing on all soil types. Sowing rate varies depending on row width: from 450,000 to 600,000 seeds per hectare, allowing for optimized planting density and increased crop productivity.
