Hana

Hana soybean variety is a medium-early determinate type with a vegetative period of about 117 days, ensuring optimal maturity timing and enabling successful cultivation in various climatic zones. Compared to traditional varieties such as Terik and Toma, Hana exhibits improved agronomic characteristics, including enhanced resistance to lodging and pod cracking, as well as high resistance to sclerotinia. Plant height is approximately 85 cm, facilitating harvest operations and reducing risks of damage during mechanized harvesting.

One key feature of the Hana variety is its high protein content in seeds, reaching 44-46%, making it attractive for producing high-quality protein feed. Additionally, seed oil content is around 20.4%, further enhancing the nutritional value of the product. The variety is adapted to various soil types and is recommended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, and Far Eastern regions, including Lipetsk and Amur Oblasts, as well as Primorsky and Khabarovsk Krai.

For optimal cultivation of the Hana variety, seed sowing rates should be adjusted according to row spacing: from 450,000 to 600,000 seeds per hectare for row widths from 15 to 70 cm. The variety demonstrates stability and adaptability under various agronomic conditions, possesses strong initial growth vigor, and is well-suited for direct seeding, simplifying agronomic operations and promoting high and stable yields.
