Description
Kivin soybean variety is an early-maturing variety recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe zone. It is characterized by high resistance to diseases and stress factors, ensuring stable yields even under adverse agroclimatic conditions. The yield potential of this variety ranges from 2.6 to 3.0 tons per hectare, with a 1000-seed mass of 146.3 grams and a seed density at harvest varying from 650,000 to 750,000 seeds per hectare.
The Kivin variety has a high protein content — approximately 36.2%, making it attractive for producing high-quality products. Due to its biological characteristics, it adapts well to the forest-steppe zone conditions of Ukraine and demonstrates resistance to adverse environmental factors.
Studies show that the application of inoculants based on Bradyrhizobium japonicum M8 bacterial strains in combination with pesticides contributes to improved growth and development processes of the Kivin variety. Such combined use of treatments enhances the growth intensity of crops and promotes higher yields, which is especially important for farmers aiming to increase soybean production efficiency in the right-bank forest-steppe region of Ukraine.
