Kobuko

Kobuko is an early-maturing soybean variety with a maturation period of 95–105 days and an SCN resistance coefficient of 2500. This variety is characterized by vigorous early growth and high yield, making it a leader in its maturity group. Plants have an indeterminate growth habit and erect growth form, which promotes good branching and resistance to pod cracking. Plant height is above average, and the main stem pubescence has a reddish-brown hue.

The leaves of the Kobuko variety have medium-intensity green coloring, and the seeds are medium-sized with yellow seed coats and light hilum, matching the seed color. Flowering and maturation time varies from early to medium, allowing for effective planning of agronomic activities. The variety is well-adapted to various growing conditions and demonstrates resistance to sclerotinia, especially when preceded by sunflower.

For optimal cultivation, Kobuko should be sown with row spacing from 25 to 50 cm. Sowing rate depends on water availability, row width, and planting date, ranging from 650,000 to 750,000 seeds per hectare. These parameters ensure vigorous plant development and high productivity, making the variety attractive to farmers aiming for a stable and high-quality soybean harvest.
