Description
Soybean variety Kor sak is a medium-early or medium-maturing indeterminate variety with high yield potential, reaching 3.5 to 4.0 tons per hectare in various growing regions. Plants have a height of 110 to 140 cm, upright or semi-upright type with reddish-brown hairs. Leaves are medium-sized, lanceolate-oval in shape, green in color, flowers are purple. Seeds are medium-sized, yellow in color, with a yellow hilum, 1000-seed mass varies from 153 to 163 grams. The variety is adapted to diverse soil-climatic conditions and is recommended for mechanical harvesting. Kor sak is resistant to lodging, shattering, as well as diseases such as downy mildew, ascochytosis, and sclerotinia, ensuring stable yields and high seed quality. The recommended plant density at harvest is 520,000 to 580,000 plants per hectare. The variety successfully grows in various zones, including the North Caucasus region, foothill and steppe areas with varying irrigation levels, as confirmed by yield data and adaptability. Kor sak ranks among the leaders in seed protein content, reaching 33 to 42%, making it valuable for grain use. Additionally, seed fat content is about 23%, contributing to high oil yield. Average protein and oil content are also at a high level, confirming the economic efficiency of the variety. Soybean Kor sak was registered and included in state registries since 2011–2012, indicating its proven reliability and demand among agricultural producers.
