The Lazurnaya soybean variety is a mid-early indeterminate variety with medium-height plants, having a stem shape ranging from semi-compressed to intermediate and gray pubescence on the stem. Leaves are oval-shaped, green, of medium size, while the flowers are purple. Seeds of this variety have a spherical-flattened shape, yellow color with a yellow hilum, and the mass of 1000 seeds varies from 136.0 to 171.7 grams. The height of attachment of the lower pod ranges from 9.9 to 16.0 cm, while the intensity of brown pod coloration varies from light to medium.
Lazurnaya is distinguished by its resistance to lodging and shattering, which contributes to yield preservation. Average seed yield in the Far Eastern region reaches 17.6 centners per hectare, with a maximum recorded yield of 31.2 centners per hectare. Protein content in seeds is 37.6%, and fat content is 22.5%, making this variety valuable for the production of vegetable oil and protein products.
