Soybean variety Oksana is a medium-maturing grain variety recommended for cultivation in steppe regions. Plants reach a height of 150 to 165 cm, have a compact form and good branching. Leaves are large, dark green, and inflorescences are racemes with 12-14 small white flowers. Pods are reddish, convex in shape with a characteristic beak at the end, containing 3-4 round, yellow seeds with black-brown pigmentation and an oval hilum with a black hilum. The variety exhibits high resistance to pod splitting and stem breakage, reducing losses during harvest. The height of lower pod attachment above the soil surface is 16 cm and more, which also helps minimize yield losses. The vegetation period is 120-130 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The recommended seeding rate is 500-550 thousand seeds per hectare, with an optimal plant density at harvest of 350-400 thousand plants per hectare and row spacing of 56-70 cm. Soybean Oksana is characterized by high crude protein content — 37.6% and fat — 21.4%, making it a valuable feed and grain resource. Potential yield reaches up to 30 centners per hectare (2.5-3.0 t/ha). The variety is resistant to diseases and stress factors, ensuring stable production.
