OLIMPIA

Soya variety OLIMPIA is an early-maturing indeterminate culture with plant height of approximately 77 cm and grey pubescence on the main stem. The plant features an erect or semi-erect growth type, purple flowers, and medium-sized yellow seeds with a grey hilum. The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 145 g, and the vegetative period lasts about 110 days, allowing the variety to be used in various crop rotations, including main and repeated sowings, as well as short-rotation systems. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging, bean splitting at maturity, powdery mildew, and gray mold, ensuring yield stability even in dry years. OLIMPIA is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus, Central Black Earth, and Lower Volga regions, including Stavropol Krai, where the maximum yield reached 30.7 c/ha. The average yield in the region is about 14.1 c/ha, confirming the high adaptability and profitability of the variety. OLIMPIA seeds have a high protein content of approximately 34.2% and fat content of approximately 24.8%, making it attractive for the production of oil and protein raw materials. The high-tech variety ensures efficient production of quality grain with good technological characteristics, which is advantageous for farmers focused on a stable and profitable soya harvest.
