PRIMORSKAYA 96

Primorskaya 96 soybean is a late-maturing indeterminate variety with a tendency towards very late maturation. Plants of this variety have a medium-high semi-erect development type with gray pubescence on the main stem and purple flowers. Leaves are compound with round-ovate side leaflets, while seeds are medium-sized, elongated, yellow in color with a yellow hilum. The mass of 1000 seeds is 179 grams, indicating the variety's large fruitness. Plant height reaches 86 cm, and the attachment of lower pods is located at a height of about 15.6 cm. The Primorskaya 96 variety is distinguished by high yield and stability under production conditions in the Primorsky Krai and the Far Eastern region. Average yield is about 16 c/ha, while maximum indicators reach 29.3 c/ha. In the Primorsky Krai, average yield is 24.6 c/ha. Protein content in seeds varies within 38.9-39.7%, and fat content is 21.7-22.7%, which makes this variety valuable for both food use and animal feeding. Thanks to high resistance to diseases, particularly downy mildew, the variety is capable of forming a stable yield even under epiphytotic disease development, which reduces the need for pesticide application. Primorskaya 96 was created using hybridization methods, which ensures the ecological safety of the product and eliminates restrictions associated with genetically modified varieties. The variety exhibits resistance to lodging and pod cracking, high synchronicity of maturation, and the ability to "stayover", which minimizes yield losses during mechanized harvesting. Furthermore, seeds of this variety are less prone to injury, which improves product quality and preservation.
