Description
SK Planta — mid-season determinate soybean variety intended for intensive agricultural production. The plants reach a height of 120-130 cm, have weak branching, and lack stem lodging. Lower pods attach at a height of 14-17 cm, which facilitates harvest. The variety's flowers are purple, seeds are yellow with a gray hilum, and the hypocotyl is anthocyanin-colored. The main stem is gray-pubescent, while side leaflets have an acuminate-ovate shape.
The variety has a medium maturity period with a vegetative period of 115-120 days and early flowering onset. Maturation occurs in the first or second decade of September at a sum of effective temperatures of 2500-2600 °C. The variety shows high resistance to plant lodging and pod cracking during storage, ensuring yield preservation and quality. SK Planta is plastic to various row widths and responds well to irrigation, allowing adaptation to different cultivation conditions.
Protein content in seeds ranges from 32.6 to 42.0%, and fat from 20.0 to 24.8%, making this variety attractive for producing high-quality raw materials. Average yield in the region is about 27.9 c/ha, with maximum figures reaching 43.7 c/ha, and up to 52.5 c/ha according to the originator data. The variety is recommended for cultivation in Krasnodar Krai and Rostov Oblast, confirming its adaptation to the climatic conditions of the North Caucasus region.
