Smolyanka is an early-maturing variety of black soybean developed by the Institute of Feed and Agriculture of Podolia and included in the Register of Varieties of Ukraine since 2008. This variety is characterized by a black seed coat and a vegetation period ranging from 109 to 120 days. The yield of Smolyanka reaches 3.8–4.2 tons per hectare, with protein content in the seeds at 35–38% and oil content at 18–19%. The variety is distinguished by its resistance to diseases and stress factors, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions.
