Sprint

Soybean variety Sprint is a medium-early variety recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine. Plants reach a height of about 83 cm, have a semi-spreading bush form and medium leafiness. Lower pods are attached at a height of approximately 10 cm from the ground. Flowers are white, arranged in racemes of 4-6 flowers, and pods are sickle-shaped with a pointed tip and dense reddish pubescence. Seeds are yellow, kidney-shaped and flattened, with a brown hilum, and the 1000-seed mass ranges from 100 to 130 grams. The variety belongs to the medium-early group with a vegetative period of about 84 days and is intended for grain use. Seeds contain 36-38% protein and 22-23% oil, making it medium-oil quality. Yield potential ranges from 2.0 to 2.5 tons per hectare depending on the cultivation zone, and the variety is resistant to lodging, pod cracking during storage, bacterial blight, and viral mosaic. Due to these characteristics, Sprint is suitable for main and repeated plantings, and can also be used as a safety crop in case of winter crop failure. Soybean Sprint was developed in Ukraine and registered in 2003. It is recommended for cultivation in southern and eastern regions of the country, due to its adaptation to climatic conditions of the forest-steppe and steppe zones. Thanks to its high resistance to diseases and adverse factors, this variety ensures a stable yield and high-quality grain, making it an attractive choice for agricultural producers.
