Soybean variety 'Terek' is a mid-early or early-maturing variety developed considering various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 85-95 cm and have an indeterminate growth type. The variety is recommended for cultivation in diverse regions, including the Central Black Earth, Lower Volga, and Far Eastern regions, as well as the forest zone, forest-steppe, and steppe. It is adapted to various soil conditions, including light chestnut and sierozem soils, which expands the possibilities for its cultivation. Soybean 'Terek' is distinguished by high yield, which varies depending on the region and can reach from 10.1 to 25.2 centners/ha, and in some areas of Kazakhstan — up to 47.3 centners/ha. The mass of 1000 seeds is about 160-168 g, which indicates the large-grained nature of the variety. Protein content in seeds is in the range of 38.5-42%, and fat content — from 20 to 23%, making this variety valuable for food use and production of high-protein and high-oil products. The variety has resistance to lodging, shattering, and a multitude of diseases, as well as stress factors, ensuring stability and high quality of the crop. It is suitable for mechanized harvesting, which facilitates agrotechnical processes and improves harvest efficiency.
