Soybean variety Yug 40 is an early-maturing, high-protein variety, distinguished by high yield and resistance to adverse conditions. The vegetation period ranges from 75 to 100 days, enabling harvest within a short time frame. Plants reach a height of 90-110 cm, with the lower pod attached at a height of 13-16 cm. The variety features white flower color and light seed hilum coloration. The 1000-seed mass varies from 130 to 190 grams, indicating large and high-quality seed material.

Yug 40 has a high protein content, exceeding 42.5%, making it attractive for protein product production. The variety demonstrates a higher number of pods per plant and seeds per pod, including up to 40% four-seeded pods, which contributes to increased yield. The yield potential reaches 4.2-5 tons per hectare, with a technological potential of 40-50 c/ha. Thanks to the new Rps6 genome, the variety is resistant to phytophthora and other diseases, ensuring stable yields even under stress conditions.

Soybean Yug 40 is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, including cold and humid regions, as well as dry periods due to its well-developed root system. The variety is recommended for cultivation in monoculture on all soil types with an optimal planting density of 700-800 thousand plants per hectare and row spacing of 12.5-25 cm. It effectively utilizes fertilizers, promoting maximum yield potential and product quality.
