EIDER

Sugar beet variety 'EIDER' is a mid-season monopodial hybrid developed by French breeders of the company Florimond Depres. The vegetation period is about 145 days. The plant is of medium height with semi-erect green leaves and a light green petiole. The root is conical or cylindrical-conical in shape, deeply buried in the soil, with a white underground part. The mass of the root averages 560–750 grams, ensuring a high yield at 508–581 centners per hectare.

The variety is characterized by a high sugar content, ranging from 15.8% to 19.2%, which ensures a significant sugar collection—up to 98 centners per hectare. Due to high disease tolerance, 'EIDER' demonstrates stability under various growing conditions, confirmed by the absence of damage during testing years. The hybrid is suitable for mechanized cultivation and harvesting, which facilitates agronomic processes and increases production efficiency.

It is recommended for cultivation in regions with suitable climatic conditions, in particular in the Almaty region. Due to its quality characteristics and high yield, the variety 'EIDER' is widely used for industrial sugar production. Its reliability and stability make it an attractive choice for agricultural enterprises focused on obtaining high-quality raw materials.
