Description
Coyote — a new, promising, high-yielding hybrid sugar beet of diploid NZ type, intended for cultivation in sugar beet-growing regions. This medium-maturing, single-stemmed variety has a vegetation period of about 170 days and is suitable for open ground. The roots are oval-conical in shape, weighing from 700 to 770 grams, with root penetration reaching 80-90%. The leaf rosette is intermediate, and the plant exhibits high growth and germination energy.
The hybrid Coyote is characterized by high yield and sugar content, ranging from 19% to 21%. Under proper agronomic conditions, up to 85 tons of high-quality sugar beet can be harvested per hectare, with a potential yield of 1000 centners per hectare, especially under irrigation. The raw material quality is high, making this hybrid attractive for industrial cultivation.
A key feature of this variety is its resistance and tolerance to major sugar beet diseases, such as cercosporosis, rhizomania, and chlorosis, ensuring stable yields. It is recommended to harvest the roots throughout the entire harvest period, allowing flexible harvesting organization and maintaining product quality.
