KV-Dnipro

Sugar beet KV-Dnipro is a biennial tuberous plant cultivated as an annual crop. Its roots have a conical, elongated shape with a white color and contain 8-22% sucrose, making them a valuable raw material for sugar, molasses, bagasse, and defecate production. Additionally, the beet tops are used as green feed for livestock and poultry, expanding the application possibilities of this crop in agriculture.

Successful cultivation of KV-Dnipro requires specific agrotechnical conditions, including a moderate climate, sufficient rainfall, and fertile soil. At the agrofirm "Panchovo," seeds from leading producers such as SesVanderhave are used for sowing. Main preceding crops on the fields are winter wheat and corn. During cultivation, mineral fertilizers, deep plowing, mulching to retain moisture, and insecticides and fungicides for protecting plants from pests and diseases are applied.

Sowing of sugar beet begins in spring, and harvesting occurs in autumn. Thanks to a comprehensive approach to agrotechnics and plant protection, the yield of KV-Dnipro is consistently high, with minimal problems from diseases and pests. Harvested beets are sent to sugar factories, where they are processed into high-quality sugar, an essential product for both food and industry.
