LB MS 63 — a sugar beet hybrid intended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Central, Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, and West Siberian. This mid-late sweet hybrid is characterized by a single-stem diploid plant type on a sterile NZ base, ensuring stability and high crop productivity. The plant is of medium height with an intermediate leaf position, and the root crop has a broadly conical shape of medium length and a mass of about 471 grams.
The LB MS 63 hybrid is characterized by high yield and good sugar quality. In the Central Black Earth region, the average root crop yield reaches 434.4 centners per hectare with a sugar content of 18.6%, providing a sugar harvest of 90 centners per hectare. In the North Caucasian region, the yield is higher — 639.4 centners per hectare, with a sugar content of 16.6% and a sugar harvest of 107 centners per hectare. The average yield in other regions is about 39.32 tons per hectare, sugar content — 17.5%, and sugar harvest — 72.3 tons per hectare.
