Sugar beet MARINO is a nematode-resistant hybrid of the intensive NZ type, characterized by high yield and increased sugar content. This single-stem diploid variety features an oval-conical root with 85% soil immersion, ensuring ease and efficiency in harvesting with any type of agricultural machinery. The foliage is upright, of medium size with a small rosette, promoting optimal plant development and a good balance between yield and sugar content when growing technology is followed.

MARINO has high adaptability to various soil and climatic conditions, making it a universal choice for the Polesie, Forest-steppe, and Steppe regions. The hybrid demonstrates rapid early germination and plasticity to growing conditions, which is particularly important in saturated crop rotations of sugar beet and potato. The recommended sowing density is 100-115 thousand plants per hectare, contributing to achieving maximum root yield of up to 83 tons per hectare and sugar content at the level of 17.7%.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to major diseases such as rhizomania, cercosporosis, and afanomyces rot, as well as tolerance to ramularia. Thanks to these qualities and good adaptability, MARINO is suitable for cultivation under various agrotechnical conditions and at different harvesting times — early, mid-season, and late. To achieve the best results, it is recommended to follow proper agrotechnical practices, including timely irrigation, fertilization, and plant care.
