Description
MS C 2362 is a high-yield sugar beet variety, characterized by a cylindro-conical root crop, large and fully embedded in the soil. This NZ-type diploid hybrid differs in high sugar content, reaching 18-19%, which makes it valuable for sugar production. The leaf rosette is semi-erect, with 50-60 leaves forming on one plant, and a powerful taproot system penetrating to a depth of 2-2.5 meters and branching up to 1-1.2 meters in width, ensuring good nutrition and plant stability.
Sugar beet MS C 2362 is resistant to diseases such as cercosporosis, powdery mildew, and root cellar rot, which increases crop reliability. The variety is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polesye, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe, and is suitable for conditions with sufficient, unstable, and insufficient moisture. High levels of solar illumination, moisture, and temperatures in the range of 20-22°C are required for optimal growth.
Additionally, sugar beet MS C 2362 can be used not only for sugar production but also as a fodder crop. 100 kg of roots contain 25 fodder units and 1.2 kg of digestible protein, while the foliage provides 20 fodder units and 2.2 kg of digestible protein, making this variety universal and useful for agriculture.
