MS S 1660 is a high-sugar diploid hybrid of sugar beet of the NZ type, intended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polesye, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. The plant is characterized by a semi-prostrate leaf rosette, with 50 to 60 leaves forming on a single plant, which promotes active photosynthesis and good crop development. The root system is taproot, penetrating deep into the soil up to 2-2.5 meters and branching laterally up to 1-1.2 meters, ensuring reliable nutrition and resistance to adverse conditions. The hybrid root has a cylindrical-conical shape, differs in large dimensions, and is fully buried in the soil, which facilitates harvest collection and reduces losses.
