Description
RECORDINA KWS — sugar beet hybrid intended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem and North Caucasus regions. Medium-height plant with green leaf blade and broad-conical root crop, possessing a technologically convenient shape, facilitating harvest and processing. The hybrid belongs to the normal-yielding NE type and is characterized by medium and late harvest periods.
This variety stands out for its record-breaking root crop yield and high sugar output per hectare. In the Central Chernozem region, average yield reaches approximately 552 c/ha with sugar content of 16.2%, ensuring a sugar harvest of 89.8 c/ha. In the North Caucasus region, performance is even higher — yield reaches 611 c/ha, sugar content 16.1%, and sugar harvest 96.9 c/ha. The hybrid responds well to irrigation, allowing for additional productivity gains.
RECORDINA KWS exhibits comprehensive resistance to major sugar beet diseases, including fusarium, powdery mildew, aphanomyces, downy mildew, and cercospora, as well as resistance to root rots. However, it is susceptible to root maggots and cercospora, requiring control measures during cultivation. Root crops are suitable for long-term storage, ensuring flexibility in harvest and processing timelines.
