Description
JENNY is a sugar beet hybrid intended for cultivation in various regions, including Lower Volga, Central Black Earth, and Middle Volga. This mid-season variety is distinguished by high yield and sugar content, making it attractive for agricultural production. Root mass ranges from 307 to 550 grams, with sugar content reaching 18–19.6%, ensuring high sugar collection per hectare.
JENNY hybrid plants are characterized by powerful initial growth, single-stemmedness, and uniformity in growth rate and habitus. The culture is cold-hardy but moisture-demanding, especially during seed germination and root formation. The hybrid responds well to soil liming and prefers optimal acidity in the pH range of 6.5–7.5. Sowing is recommended at a depth of 6–7 cm when soil temperature reaches 6–8°C, with plant density of 85–100 thousand per hectare.
The hybrid is resistant to pests such as root fly, as well as powdery mildew, which contributes to crop preservation and loss reduction. High root yield, reaching 478 c/ha and above, and sugar content up to 19.6% make the JENNY variety a profitable choice for the sugar industry. Thanks to its agrotechnical characteristics and resistance to adverse factors, this hybrid ensures a stable and high-quality crop.
