AD 278000 JAY exhibits high resistance to sunflower rust (seven strains A-G+), as well as diseases such as rust, powdery mildew, Phoma, white rot, and gray mold. Thanks to its heat tolerance and resilience to stress conditions, including drought and lodging, the hybrid demonstrates stable productivity even in complex weather conditions.
The hybrid offers high and stable yields, with a potential up to 55 c/ha and average yields ranging from 38-50 c/ha depending on growing conditions. Head diameter is 20-24 cm, and oil content in seeds reaches 51%, making this hybrid attractive for edible oil production. High resistance to lodging and shattering helps preserve the yield during harvest and transport, enhancing the economic efficiency of cultivation.
