Description
AIACE SU — medium-early sunflower hybrid of the linoleic type, a new generation variety with high resistance to drought, heat, and major diseases. The vegetation period ranges from 108 to 114 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to various soil-climatic growing conditions. Plants reach a height of 160–180 cm, and the flower head diameter is approximately 18 cm. Seed oil content varies between 48–52%, ensuring high oil yield at harvest with low moisture due to rapid flower head drying.
The hybrid exhibits resistance to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl (SU) as well as to new races of the parasitic weed — Russian thistle (A-G). Additionally, AIACE SU shows high tolerance to root lodging, seed shattering, and false powdery mildew. Resistance levels to diseases such as white mold, black mold, fomopsis, fomosis, alternaria, septoria, gray mold, rust, and downy mildew are rated 7–9 out of 10, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss.
Recommended planting density depends on moisture conditions: 60,000–65,000 plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and 45,000–50,000 plants per hectare in dry conditions. The hybrid’s yield potential reaches 60 centners per hectare, making AIACE SU one of the most productive and reliable options for cultivation in various regions. The seed package is designed for approximately 2.5 hectares (150,000 seeds), which is convenient for planning planting operations.
