Anyuta

Anuta — mid-season sunflower hybrid, possessing high drought resistance and intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions. The vegetative period is 110-114 days, which allows the hybrid to develop successfully under limited moisture conditions. The plant reaches an average height of 170–180 cm and forms a large head with a drooping position, which reduces the risk of damage from birds and contributes to crop preservation.

The hybrid is characterized by a high productivity potential with seed yield up to 39.3 c/ha and oil content in seeds at 49–52%. The average mass of 1000 seeds is about 54.7 g, indicating large fruitfulness and product quality. Anuta is resistant to five races of sunflower rust, as well as being resistant to downy mildew and having moderate resistance to white and gray mold, which ensures reliable cultivation and reduces crop losses from diseases.

The hybrid is ideally suited for extensive types of cultivation, including no-till and minimum tillage systems. These features make Anuta an optimal choice for agrarians seeking efficient and eco-friendly sunflower production under arid climate conditions and limited resources.
