Description
Sunflower AS 35122 is a new hybrid developed by LLC "AF NPP AGROMIR" and submitted for state testing in 2024. This mid-early hybrid is characterized by high yield and adaptability to various climatic conditions, including drought periods. In the Forest-Steppe zone in 2024, under extremely dry conditions, the average yield was 37.5 centners per hectare, with a potential yield reaching 47 centners per hectare. Plant height ranges from 170 to 175 cm, ensuring optimal growth and harvest.
Hybrid AS 35122 exhibits high resistance to various stress factors and diseases. It demonstrates very high resistance to lodging and drought, as well as high resistance to shattering. Additionally, the sunflower shows high resistance to gray and white mold of the head, scoring 9 out of 10 in these parameters. The hybrid is also resistant to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl (SU), enabling effective weed control using SUMO technology at a rate of 50 grams per hectare.
Sunflower AS 35122 is suitable for planting purposes and provides high oil content in seeds — around 52% — making it attractive for producing high-quality oil. The recommended planting density is 60-65 thousand plants per hectare in the Forest-Steppe zone and 50-55 thousand plants per hectare in the Steppe zone. Using this hybrid allows achieving stable and high yields, confirmed by modern selection technologies and production based on advanced agronomic solutions.
