Auris

The Auris sunflower hybrid is an early-maturing simple hybrid with a vegetative period of 105-108 days and a flowering period from emergence of about 55 days. Seeds are black, medium to large-sized, suitable for cultivation using the Express herbicide-tolerant technology, including tribenuron-methyl (Granstar). The hybrid exhibits high adaptability to growing conditions and resistance to sunflower downy mildew (A-F), ensuring reliability under various agronomic practices.

Morphologically, plants reach a height of 170-180 cm, have a convex flower head diameter of 22-24 cm with a semi-tilted position. Oil content in seeds is 51-52%, and lodging resistance is within 20-22%. The hybrid's yield potential reaches 52 centners per hectare, with an average yield over test years of about 38 centners per hectare. The recommended plant density at harvest is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare for forest-steppe zones and 50-55 thousand plants per hectare for steppe zones.

Auris demonstrates high resistance to stress factors and diseases: high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, as well as high protection against fusarium, fusarium wilt, rust, powdery mildew, gray and white mold. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to sunflower moth. All these characteristics make Auris a reliable choice for effective and stable sunflower production under various climatic conditions.
