BK 4/RU is a medium-early simple interlinear sunflower hybrid intended for intensive cultivation. It is characterized by a rapid start and early development in the initial stages of organogenesis, which contributes to high productivity and stable yield. The hybrid's vegetation period varies from 98 to 117 days depending on the growing region, and plant height reaches 170-180 cm. The sunflower head is slightly convex and inclined, with a diameter of 20-22 cm, ensuring convenient harvesting and high oil production efficiency.

The BK 4/RU hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including gray and white mold, fomopsis, fomosis, rust, and false powdery mildew, as well as tolerance to Sclerotinia up to F. It has high drought, lodging, and shattering resistance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions, including the Central Chernozem and Lower Volga regions. The average oil content in seeds ranges from 47.7% to 52.5%, and the 1000-seed weight varies from 48 to 53.4 grams, confirming the hybrid's high quality and economic attractiveness.

To achieve maximum yield, which can reach 50 centners per hectare, it is recommended to follow crop rotation, apply intensive cultivation techniques, avoid overcrowding, and implement effective weed control. The recommended planting density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare, depending on soil moisture levels. Thanks to its high ecological plasticity and adaptability, the BK 4/RU hybrid is successfully grown in various regions of Russia, ensuring a stable and high yield even under drought conditions.
