CARLOS 105

Sunflower Carlos 105 is a high-yielding, intensive-type hybrid developed for cultivation using the Clearfield technology with imidazolinone herbicides. This hybrid is characterized by high adaptability and ecological plasticity, ensuring stable yields under various soil-climatic conditions. Carlos 105 is less demanding in terms of soil quality and exhibits high drought tolerance, making it an optimal choice for regions with variable moisture levels.

Plants reach a height of 160-165 cm, and the flower head diameter is 18-22 cm. The vegetative period of the hybrid is 105-110 days, which falls within the medium-early maturity range. Carlos 105 features strong growth vigor and high yield potential, reaching up to 5 tons per hectare. Oil content in seeds is at the level of 48-50%, ensuring high oil productivity.

The hybrid shows high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases and stress factors, including fusarium, fusariosis, rust, downy mildew, gray mold (botrytis), white mold (sclerotinia), and sunflower downy mildew races A-E. It also exhibits high resistance to lodging and seed shattering. The recommended planting density is 62-65 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 45-50 thousand plants per hectare in moderately watered zones, which helps maximize the hybrid's potential.
