It demonstrates high growth rates in early development stages and optimally realizes its potential on fertile soils with adequate moisture and proper care. The plant is drought-tolerant and resistant to several diseases, including Phomopsis, sclerotinia, and downy mildew, ensuring stable yields and high seed quality.

The hybrid features high oil content due to the combination of high yield and oil content of seeds, reaching 51-53%. Its yield potential is up to 5.5 tons per hectare, making CASTO ST an attractive choice for producers focused on maximum productivity. The plant has a height of approximately 165-175 cm and a vegetation period of 105-107 days, allowing effective planning of agrotechnical operations and harvest timing.

For optimal results, it is recommended to use Clearfield Plus technology and apply special adjuvants in tank mixtures to enhance treatment efficiency. CASTO ST sunflower prefers sunny, open areas with adequate moisture and requires maintaining optimal plant density before harvest — 55,000–60,000 plants per hectare. Flowering occurs in July–August, and seeds mature by the end of August, aligning with standard agronomic conditions for sunflower cultivation.
