CLIO

CLIO sunflower is a simple early-maturing hybrid with a vegetation period of 95-100 days. Plants reach an average height of about 170 cm, and the seed diameter is 20-22 mm. This hybrid is characterized by intensive growth and a semi-convex, semi-arching flower head shape, which contributes to effective yield formation. CLIO is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including zones with sufficient and insufficient moisture, with an optimal plant density of 55 to 65 thousand per hectare.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential up to 48 centners per hectare and an average oil content in seeds of about 50%. The 1000-seed mass is approximately 59.3 g. CLIO is resistant to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, which facilitates weed control and improves the efficiency of agronomic practices. In addition, the hybrid demonstrates high resistance to various diseases and stress factors, including lodging, drought, shattering, fomosis, fomopsis, rust, powdery mildew, gray and white rot, and sunflower downy mildew (A-F).
