DRAKE sunflower is a medium-early, plastic, and stable hybrid characterized by high yield potential and high oil content in seeds, reaching 50-52%. This hybrid features a semi-convex flower head with a diameter of 18-20 cm and a 1000-seed weight of 60-65 g. Plants reach a height of 140-170 cm, with a vegetation period of 110-115 days and a phase from emergence to flowering of 65-70 days. At harvest, the flower head is in a semi-tilted position, which is one of the hybrid's features.

DRAKE hybrid is adapted for cultivation on various soil types with medium to high agrofond and suitable for different cultivation technologies — from conventional to intensive. To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to apply optimal doses of mineral fertilizers, which not only maintain high agrofond but also increase plant resistance to lodging and pathogen infection. Sowing should be conducted at optimal times, as soon as soil temperature permits. The recommended seeding rate under favorable conditions is 60-65 thousand plants per hectare, and under unfavorable conditions — 50-55 thousand.

The hybrid exhibits excellent resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fomosis, fomopsis, gray and white mold, as well as to sunflower rust strains A-E. Resistance to lodging and stress factors is also at a high level, ensuring yield stability. DRAKE is a simple hybrid with high oil and yield performance, making it a profitable choice for cultivation under various agroclimatic conditions.
