Description
Sunflower ES Musa is an early-maturing, simple hybrid of moderate-intensity type, developed using the Euralighting technology. It demonstrates high plasticity and adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, enabling stable and high yields in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine. The vegetation period is 105-110 days, during which plants reach a height of about 165 cm, and the flower head diameter is 23 cm. The 1000-seed mass equals 62 grams, indicating the hybrid's large-seed nature.
ES Musa exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases and stress factors. The hybrid has excellent drought tolerance (rating 8 out of 10), high resistance to lodging (9 out of 10), and resistance to downy mildew (6 ratings A-F). In addition, it is resistant to Phomopsis, flower head and stem sclerotinia, phomosis, verticillium wilt, and false powdery mildew, ensuring reliable crop protection and reducing the risk of yield losses.
The ES Musa hybrid is characterized by rapid early growth during the vegetative period and good flower head pollination, which contributes to high yield potential up to 45 ц/га. The oil content in seeds is 47-48%, making this sunflower attractive for producing high-quality oil products. Thanks to its characteristics and resistance, ES Musa is a reliable choice for farmers seeking stable and efficient sunflower cultivation in various climatic zones.
