ES NIAGARA

Sunflower ES NIAGARA is an early-maturing simple hybrid for oilseed production, suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. The vegetation period is approximately 104 days, ensuring early maturity and enabling harvest at optimal times. Plants reach an average height of 165 to 185 cm, with a flower head diameter of about 23 cm, which contributes to high oil content in seeds.

The hybrid features high yield potential, which can reach 55 centners per hectare under ideal conditions, and 35 to 48 centners per hectare in real-world conditions. Seeds of ES NIAGARA contain 48-49% oil, making this variety attractive for oilseed production. The 1000-seed weight is approximately 64 grams, and the germination energy is 9, ensuring rapid and reliable plant growth during the early vegetative stage.

One of the key features of ES NIAGARA is its high drought and disease resistance, including resistance to sclerotinia of the flower head and stem, false powdery mildew, verticillium wilt, and phomopsis. Additionally, the hybrid shows resistance to aggressive races of downy mildew and good resistance to seed shattering under various cultivation conditions. All these characteristics make ES NIAGARA a universal and reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality sunflower harvest.
