ES POLARIS CL

Sunflower ES POLARIS CL is an ultraprecoce hybrid with high yield and adaptability to various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of about 165 cm, and the head diameter is approximately 21 cm. The 1000-seed mass is 62 grams, indicating good potential for obtaining a high-quality yield. The oil content of the seeds is 49-50%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to downy mildew races A-F, as well as tolerance to major diseases, including false powdery mildew due to the presence of the PL6 gene. ES POLARIS CL demonstrates resistance to diseases such as frogeye leaf spot, sclerotinia, rust, and verticillium, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. Moreover, the sunflower is highly drought- and heat-tolerant, allowing successful cultivation in various regions, including steppes, forest-steppes, and the Polissia area of Ukraine.

The recommended sowing rate depends on soil moisture levels: 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 55-60 thousand under sufficient moisture. The hybrid is adapted to Clearfield Plus and EuroLighting technologies, ensuring effective weed management and enhancing the economic efficiency of cultivation. ES POLARIS CL is suitable for cultivation in moderate climatic conditions of Ukraine and has a yield potential exceeding 50 centners per hectare.
