EU Stark

Stark 7+ Sumo Sunflower is a high-yielding universal hybrid suitable for cultivation under both intensive and extensive technologies. This mid-season variety with a vegetative period of approximately 105-107 days exhibits high drought resistance and good cold tolerance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. The height of mature plants reaches 165-175 cm, with a strong root system and large leaf area, promoting efficient nutrient uptake and plant development.

The hybrid belongs to the oil group with a seed oil content of 51-53%, and the 1000-seed weight is 58-60 grams. The yield potential reaches 55 centners per hectare, confirming the high productivity of the variety. Seeds are supplied by the producer Evrossem, already treated with fungicide and ready for sowing, simplifying planting preparation and reducing disease risks.

Stark 7+ Sumo demonstrates excellent resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, downy mildew, peronosporosis, black and white rot, fomopsis, fomosis, alternaria, gray mold, rust, and septoria, ensuring stable yields. The recommended planting density is 55,000–60,000 plants per hectare. The hybrid is also herbicide-resistant to Granstar, simplifying crop maintenance. Recommended growing regions include southern, central, and eastern areas of Ukraine, where the hybrid successfully adapts to local conditions.
