Evan sunflower is a medium-maturing, high-oil hybrid of linoleic type, intended for cultivation using classical technology. It is characterized by high yield potential up to 6 tons per hectare and high oil content in seeds. The hybrid features a standard-sized head with a diameter of 17-21 cm, well-formed and distinctly convex. Plants have strong stems and well-developed root systems, ensuring resistance to lodging and head breakage throughout the vegetation period.

Evan exhibits high resistance to a wide spectrum of diseases, including phomopsis, phomopsis blight, gray and white mold, as well as false powdery mildew. Additionally, the hybrid shows drought tolerance and resistance to races of the parasitic weed dog (A-F/G). Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 45-50 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture and 55-65 thousand under sufficient moisture. The hybrid features rapid water release and early head maturation, reducing drying costs and improving seed quality.
